Getting to Our Destination!

We had such an amazing trip! Ailin, Brande and Niki are all amazing girls! I am truly blessed to have had the chance to get to know them as the semester progresses. Our journey began with interesting twists. We thought we not only got on the wrong train in the wrong station once but twice. We got turned around a couple times and it was a little scary. Seeing that it was late, we all barely speak the language, most the people that would help you weren't there because of the time. It made for an interesting time. It was such a relief when we stepped onto the overnight train and got into our compartment for the 5 hours we were able to sleep. It was not long enough but enough to keep us moving for all day Saturday which was our first day in Roma. We we were pretty tired starting out but as the day progressed we got more and more into where we were. We spent at least 3 or 4 hours looking at, around, and inside the Colosseum. It was unbelievable. Something we have all dreamed about seeing. Then we were there. It felt like a dream. I walked where Paul walked. It was just so moving and so unbelievable.
